Farmers Alley Theatre’s favorite composing team, Scott Burkell and Paul Loesel, are bringing their brand new musical, The Extraordinary Ordinary, to Kalamazoo, straight from New York City. The Extraordinary Ordinary follows a group of college friends - straight, gay and confused - as they face the challenges of life in Manhattan and explore everything from dating and sex to marriage and starting a family. Filled with humor, heart and hope, Burkell and Loesel bring their songwriting talents back to Michigan in this Drama Desk nominated production. It’s Friends meets thirtysomething with a musical twist!
