Brandon Ruiter (Tommy DeVito) is thrilled to be making his Farmers Alley debut! Originally from Grand Rapids MI, Brandon began his career in Chicago, where he was a company member with The House Theatre of Chicago before moving to Los Angeles for many years. Favorite Los Angeles theater credits include Lights Out: Nat “King” Cole and Sex with Strangers with the Geffen Playhouse Theatre, Failure: A Love Story with Center Theatre Group/Coeurage Theatre and Tom Sawyer in Big River at Rubicon Theatre Company. Some of his favorite film/tv credits include “Black AF” and “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” on Netflix, Warner Brothers “Into the Storm” and ABC’s “The Goldbergs”. Brandon is also an accomplished Illustrator and Character Designer and works as an Assistant Producer at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts. Seth K. Hale (Nick Massi) is a full time stage, screen, and commercial actor based out of Milwaukee Wisconsin. Dwight L. Trice Jr. (Hal, Barry & Others) is beyond overjoyed for the opportunity to return to the Farmers Alley Theatre stage. During the COVID shut down, Dwight helped to produce and starred in several digital productions, and was most recently seen as Dr. John Watson at the Rochester Fringe Festival in a new telling of Sherlock Holmes. Now a NYC resident, Dwight holds a BA in Theatre Arts from Kalamazoo College and considers himself a “student of life”. Brian Panse (Bob Crewe & Others) is excited to be back at Farmers Alley Theatre as part of this wonderful company. Previous productions here range from this past summer’s production of School of Rock, Bright Star, and all the way back to Blood Brothers in 2011. He served as stage manager for both runs of The Great American Trailer Park Musical. Other credits include A Christmas Carol (Jacob Marley, The New Vic) and many memorable shows at the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre. Ian Cummisford (Swing) is thrilled to be making his Farmers Alley Theatre Debut in Jersey Boys. Previously seen as Frank Jr. in Catch Me If You Can at the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre, he is eager to bring his passion for acting and music to the stage once again. When he isn’t performing, Ian enjoys writing music, hanging out with his cats, and recording voiceover projects. Special thanks are extended to friends, family, and the creative team for their incredible support throughout this process!
Kathy served as Vice President of the board at Farmers Alley Theatre for 15 years and has directed 36 shows at the theatre since its inception in 2008. She also often designs costumes, sets, and projections. For the last year she has also taken on a new title as the theatre's Production Manager to guide and oversee every title in the season to production. Favorite shows she has directed for the theatre include: The Secret Garden, Next to Normal, The Light in the Piazza, Parade, Bright Star, Fun Home, A Gentleman’s Guide…, The Bridges of Madison County, Cabaret, and Working: A Musical.
